The Expo is open to the public and offers multiple activities to increase public awareness of environmental concerns and provide information on how individuals can live and work in a more environmentally-friendly manner. Attendees can visit 'green' vendor exhibits; view sustainability related projects designed by college students from throughout Southern California; attend workshops on a variety of sustainability topics; and enjoy a water-themed photography exhibit. ​​​
Lake Skinner
Solar Cup is a high school education program in which teams of students from throughout Southern California build and race solar-powered boats. The seven-month program culminates in a three-day competition at Lake Skinner, in Temecula Valley. Through the program, students learn about conservation of natural resources, electrical and mechanical engineering, problem solving and much more.​ The three-day competition is from May 13-15, 2016.
