Spring Green Expo

Find out why more than 300 college students from 30 Southern California colleges/universities have showcased their sustainability project work at Metropolitan's Spring Green Expo, and how easy it is to apply to be part of the Eco Innovators' Showcase.

Metropolitan promotes and practices environmental sustainability. From paper waste and outdoor landscaping to company cars and energy use, Metropolitan is committed to using finite resources in a wise and responsible manner with a view toward long-range viability and compatibility with the environment. Metropolitan embraces technologies and practices that will help achieve long-term sustainability and responsible use of our natural resources to help improve the environment and protect habitat. ​

Community Events
Lake Skinner

Solar Cup is a high school education program in which teams of students from throughout Southern California build and race solar-powered boats. The seven-month program culminates in a three-day competition at Lake Skinner, in Temecula Valley. Through the program, students learn about conservation of natural resources, electrical and mechanical engineering, problem solving and much more.​ The three-day competition is from May 13-15, 2016.
